Overnight Beauty Tips

A large number of women are frustrated upon noticing dull skin on their face in the morning. Even after having tried the most expensive products, these women just fail to get the simple idea – a before-sleep skincare regimen can work.
Follow these overnight beauty tips and look fabulous each morning:

1.    Remove Makeup
Do you wear makeup each time you go out? Make it a point to remove it before you sleep. Use a fine makeup remover. Wash your face thoroughly and ensure that you properly dry it to leave no traces of makeup particles on the skin. Use an alcohol-free toner to restore the pH of your skin.
2.    Thorough Cleansing and exfoliation

Next, thoroughly cleanse your face with a good cleanser. Make sure you gently massage the skin and don’t apply too much pressure. Once you’re done with the massage, use lukewarm (neither too hot water nor extremely cold water is good for your skin!) to wash your face. This will help remove dirt and debris that gets stuck on the skin during the daytime. You can also exfoliate your facial skin to eliminate blackheads.

3.    Face and Eye Cream

Pat your face dry by using a smooth towel and apply a fine-quality face cream to give your skincare routine a final touch. For the skin around the eyes, use an eye cream. It will refill your skin, help remove dark circles and reduce puffiness. Don’t forget to wash your lips with lukewarm water; apply a balm to soften chipped lips and remove dead skin.
4.    Body Moisturizer

Finally, apply a fine-quality body moisturizer, one that suits your skin type, to your entire body. Consider using an organic moisturizer having no harsh additives and chemicals. A quality moisturizer will have essential nutrients including vitamins and minerals that nourish your skin.

Choosing the Right Numbing Cream

Having powerful ingredients, good quality over-the-counter or prescription strength numbing creams minimize pain so that a person undergoing a surgical procedure does not experience extreme discomfort. On a fundamental level, numbing creams are topical anesthetics that help reduce painful skin sensations during procedures such as waxing, laser skin resurfacing, body piercing and tattooing.

Most numbing creams have Lidocaine, Benzocaine and Tetracaine as their main ingredients. When you need a numbing cream, don’t just go by what TV, radio or online adverts say.

High price and quick numbing effects are not necessarily the only factors to be considered when choosing a numbing cream. To get the best product, look for type of ingredients, formulation and safety.

Make sure -

  1. Your numbing cream has Lidocaine, the strongest known numbing agent, as its chief  constituent
  2. Always choose a cream according to the intensity of pain involved in a procedure.
  3.   If it’s insect bites and sunburns that are bothering you, you can just go for a Tetracaine based cream. But, for other painful procedures, you can go for a much powerful and effective numbing product like Dr Numb.
  4.   To reduce mild pain like itching, a Benzocaine based numbing cream would do just fine.
  5.    An over-the-counter cream can be just as good as a prescription strength product.
  6.    Lidocaine-based product (Dr Numb, for example) is the best numbing cream/spray to help reduce pain during waxing, piercing, tattooing etc.

Wart Removal need not be Painful

Wart is a common skin condition caused by Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). Warts that show up on the skin resemble a cauliflower and look like a solid blister. They may target any part of your body including the genitals. The worst, this skin condition is infectious and gets transferred through open skin contact.

Dr Numb for Wart Removal

Warts are treated and removed with laser technique and surgery in severe cases. Affected skin portions need to be removed through surgery and needless to mention, it’s very painful.

But, wart removal need not always be painful as advanced topical anesthetics are readily available nowadays. Dr Numb, for example, is one of the best and frequently used topical anesthetics by surgeons in Australia.

Dr Numb is used to numb the wart affected skin area that needs to be treated with laser or surgery. The cream is highly effective and already proven safe for use.

Application and Safety

Apply Dr Numb on the wart-affected body part around 45 minutes before wart removal for maximum effect. Now, carefully wrap the skin with a saran wrap and wait for the cream to work.

Once the numbness kicks off, pain won’t bother you during the surgical procedure. Wart removal need not be painful any longer!

Minor Surgeries: Dr Numb Can Help

Though minor surgeries are not very complicated, they are painful like any other surgical procedure. This is the reason why the use of local topical anesthetics is recommended.  With these topical anesthetics, a person undergoing a minor surgery feels little or negligible pain.

Previously, anesthetics were given through injections. Now, numbing creams have successfully replaced them for minor surgical procedures.

Dr Numb Topical Numbing Cream

Dr Numb is a frequently used numbing cream that minimizes the pain during minor surgeries. The application is simple and painless.
Dr numb – Features:

  •           A numbing cream for painful procedures like minor surgeries, laser, tattooing, waxing and piercing
  •      5% Lidocaine as main numbing agent
  •      Vitamin E Acetate for skin recovery
  •           Clinically proven 87.78% water-based topical anesthetic
  •      Quick effects with rapid absorption

How Dr Numb Helps

Dr Numb is applied to the skin area that is to be treated a couple of minutes in advance. However, the time would vary depending upon how major or minor a surgery is. For a minor surgery, apply Dr Numb at least 15 minutes or half an hour in advance.
When properly absorbed by the skin, the cream will block the sodium responsible for sending pain signals to the brain. Pain signals don’t reach your nerve endings and you feel no pain during the surgery.
